One windy and cold evening we popped over to The Castle Inn, Castle Bytham for a drinky and natter with an old school chum, Charlotte. Brrrrr! We parked up outside and got blown across the pavement and into the inn. Oh my, it was so cosy, fires lit, candles flickering, sumptious decor and amazing smells wafting in from the kitchen.
This was ‘a proper pub’ I thought to myself. We grabbed a drink and sat down waiting for Charlotte, old school chum and also owner of this beautiful place, which she runs with her partner Eamonn. Charlotte wanted a new website for the inn and boy are we pleased we visited, because it was very apparant that this website really did need to reflect the inn and the people, together with the food and drinks that make this place special. We had a little tour – not only of the rooms, but of the amazing collection of memorabilia about the village.
This place needed showcasing. If I were to write a one liner on this place, it would have to be “A wonderful, unique, cosy country pub” …and it’s that line you read when you reach The Castle Inn’s website. Needless to say after a huge catch up – we haven’t really seen each other for over 15 years… we got onto business.
Today, on a somewhat warmer day, we present the website: www.castleinnbytham.co.uk Needless to say, we have since sampled the menu.. Charlotte’s passion for creating exquisite food is very apparant and that exquisite food is very photogenic too!
